Infrastructure Engineer (Senior / Staff)

We're building Ghostviber as an AI-native product — where infrastructure directly impacts product experience.

This is not a traditional DevOps role — it sits at the intersection of distributed systems, performance engineering, and real-world production constraints.

Behind every feature, there are systems handling:

• ·AI workloads
• ·async pipelines
• ·queues and background jobs
• ·storage and delivery of generated assets
• ·scaling under unpredictable load

We're looking for someone who can design and operate infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, and efficient — without unnecessary complexity.

This role is about taking infrastructure that already works and pushing it to its limits — scaling it, stabilizing it, and making it resilient under real-world load.

What you'll do

• ·Design and manage infrastructure for a distributed, AI-driven system
• ·Build and maintain deployment pipelines and environments
• ·Work with containerized services and orchestration
• ·Design scaling strategies for async workloads and queues
• ·Ensure system reliability, availability, and fault tolerance
• ·Improve observability (logging, metrics, tracing)
• ·Optimize performance and infrastructure cost
• ·Collaborate directly on architecture decisions with backend and product

What we expect

• ·Strong experience in infrastructure / DevOps / platform engineering
• ·Experience with containerized environments (Docker-based systems)
• ·Understanding of distributed systems and service communication
• ·Ability to make pragmatic decisions under real-world constraints (cost, latency, reliability)
• ·Experience with queues, messaging systems, and async workloads
• ·Ability to design systems that are reliable, scalable, and observable
• ·Experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging production systems
• ·Pragmatic mindset — you build what's needed, not what looks impressive
• ·Experience operating systems in cloud environments (AWS or similiar)
• ·Experience with caching layers (e.g. Redis)

Nice to have

• ·Experience with AI workloads or compute-heavy systems
• ·Familiarity with security best practices
• ·Experience in high-ownership environments
• ·Experience with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
